What can the Republican Party do for Starke County?

     How about reducing the  size of government, streamlining bureaucracy, and
    returning power to  individual states. With a core belief in the primacy of
    individuals, the  Republican Party, since its inception, has been at the forefront of
    the fight for  individuals' rights in opposition to a large, intrusive government.
    Republicans believe individuals, not government, can make the best decisions; all
    people are entitled to equal rights; and decisions are best made close to home.  Government must be limited so that it never becomes powerful enough to infringe on the rights of individuals. (From GOP.com)

       Thank you for your interest in Starke County Government
  and my campaign for Starke County Council, District 2
  (Center Township).  I hope you find my website interesting
  and informative over this election time. I will try to keep you
  updated as to my point of view of local, state and national
  government as well as share interesting news stories that
  effect our daily lives.

      Though my wife, Nina and I are not life long residents of Starke  County, we loved it so much we decided to make it our   home. When we moved here in 1993, we never thought we  would end up being so involved in our community as we  have been. We have lived and worked near Chicago, St.
 Louis, Detroit and Alpena, MI. I grew up in small towns and loved them. But I think that with my time living near large cities, I can bring a new and fresh point of view to Starke County government. It is my goal to make Starke County Government work for the people of Starke County in a more cost effective way.
